Our Story

Sun And Salt Escapes was born when two friends, Sophie and Alissa realised their shared love for the ocean, exploring, yoga and good food could bring people together, like it had brought them together.

“We are not ashamed to say we love where we live, and that special place is North Pembrokeshire, the most westerly tip of Wales. It’s surrounded by wild, rugged, beautiful coastal terrain, secluded beaches and endless footpaths waiting to be explored.

We want to bring to you a slice of the good life, well, at least what we believe to be the good life. Here, we focus on the simple things, where being outside is always a priority, sea gazing replaces screen time, and we follow Mother Nature’s rules.

Our lives here are pretty simple, but every day we embrace where we live to it’s fullest. We explore the coast path, running or walking. We get salty in the sea and we meditate to the sound of the waves. We truly believe, this is the building blocks to a happier life.

Combining this with a wholesome diet, of soulful plant-based food and good coffee. We think it’s a pretty great life. We want to share it with you, to invite you here and show you the best of what’s on offer. Take you to our favourite beaches, secret swim spots, show you how to move your body in a feel-good and fun way. Of course, feed you delicious healthy food, connect with like-minded souls and most importantly give you the space to just breathe.

We’ve selected the best experiences to create what we believe is the perfect escape for busy people who are up for exploring the outdoors, don’t take themselves too seriously and love to connect with new people. Every year we are blown away by how much people really need this time out for themselves, even though we fill our retreat days with lots of physical activities like workouts on the beach, walking and swimming. We also give you time to slow down, with yoga, sea gazing, sunset walks and daily free time to spend as you choose.”
